Data Deletion — Social Media Widget

What We Store
To operate the Instagram widget, we may store an access token, technical identifiers (slug, ig_user_id),
and a cache of displayed data (profile + posts). You can request the deletion of this data at any time.
Option A — Revoke Access via Meta (Recommended)
You can remove the authorization granted to the application directly from Facebook/Instagram. As soon as access is revoked, the Service can no longer query the Meta API to update your feed.
- Open Facebook (or Instagram) with the account used for connection.
- Go to Settings → Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations depending on your account).
- Find Social Media Widget.
- Click Remove and confirm.
Depending on your configuration, removal may also be done in "Business Integrations".
Option B — Request Data Deletion from Us
You may ask us to delete all data associated with your account (token, cache, configuration).
1) Send a Request
Send an email to: contact@matisscottard.com or SMS to +33 7 84 74 36 25 with:
- Your Facebook User ID (visible in your Facebook settings / Business integrations)
- The concerned Instagram account(s) (e.g.,
@matiss.agency) - The slug used for your site (if known), e.g.,
matiss - The statement: "I request the deletion of my data related to Social Media Widget."
2) Processing Time
We typically delete data within 7 business days upon receipt of a sufficiently precise request. We may request additional information to verify the legitimacy of the request.
3) What is Deleted
- Client configuration (e.g., KV
IG_CONFIG: slug → ig_user_id, token, etc.) - Cache (e.g., KV
IG_CACHE: slug → profile/posts) - Any associated technical states (e.g., reconnection requests)
4) What May Remain
- Aggregated and minimized technical logs (security/diagnostics), retained for a limited time.
- Data already present at Meta (Facebook/Instagram): we no longer have access after revocation, but we cannot delete it from Meta.
