Terms of Service — Social Media Widget

Summary
The Service allows displaying an Instagram widget (profile + posts) on a website. It relies on a Meta connection (Facebook/Instagram) and technical caches. The user can revoke access at any time. The Service may stop updating if the token expires or is revoked.

1) Definitions

Service: Social Media Widget.
User: any person connecting a Meta/Instagram account to the Service.
Client: the owner of the website where the widget is embedded.
Widget: JavaScript script embedded on the client site, consuming Service endpoints.
Meta: Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook/Instagram).

2) Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of the Service. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

3) Eligibility

You represent that you have the necessary rights to connect an Instagram account and/or a Facebook Page. You agree to comply with Meta's terms and policies.

4) Service Operation

4.1 Connection (OAuth)

The Service uses a Meta authentication flow (OAuth). You explicitly authorize the application to access certain data (profile/posts) in order to provide the widget.

4.2 Cache and Performance

The Service may store technical copies ("cache") of displayed data to speed up loading and limit Meta API calls.

4.3 Limitations

Displayed content depends on Meta API limits and Meta availability.
The widget may display thumbnails and redirect to Instagram. We do not guarantee "full video player" integration within the site.
Tokens may expire or be revoked: reconnection may be necessary to restore updates.

5) User Obligations

Do not attempt to bypass technical limitations of the Service or Meta.
Do not use the Service to collect data abusively (scraping, resale, unauthorized profiling).
Provide accurate information when requested (e.g., slug, selecting the correct account).

6) Intellectual Property

The Service, its technical components (code, endpoints, cache logic) are protected by intellectual property rights. Instagram content (photos, videos, texts) remains the property of their authors.

7) Availability and Support

8) Suspension / Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service in case of:

abusive, illegal usage, or non-compliance with these terms,
request from Meta or legal obligation,
security risk or fraud.

You may stop using the Service at any time and revoke access from Meta.

9) Liability

The Service depends on third-party platforms (Meta). We cannot guarantee:

continuous availability of the Meta API,
absence of rule/permission changes imposed by Meta,
permanence of an access token.

To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect losses (loss of revenue, opportunities, etc.) related to Meta unavailability or access revocation.

10) Personal Data

Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.

11) Modifications

We may modify these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the current version.
